The Buddy Roamer is a posterior walking aid that provides partial weight bearing, postural support with mobility.

The ergonomically designed frame supports body weight while allowing the child to walk around freely and unaided.

The Buddy Roamer has been designed to meet the needs of mild, moderate and complex users.

There is no obstruction to interaction with other people or objects. This allows the child to have hands-free interaction with the surroundings to learn, explore and discover.

BASIC SYSTEM INCLUDES rolling base with 8" rear wheels and casters, hip support, telescoping headrest, adjustable dynamic spring, rear wheel locks and anti tippers. ( Must select one chest support and head support option )

My child used the Buddy Roamer gait trainer during physical therapy, and walked very well in it. Unlike most other gait trainers, she was able to move this one forward on her own. However, the only downside is that the central positioning bar was way too hard and uncomfortable, and caused her to cry. There is another option to use a "central positioning bar with abduction pad", and when she tried it, it was much more comfortable for her, and also kept her legs from crossing as she walked. So overall I would recommend the Buddy Roamer, but ONLY if it has the central positioning bar with abduction pad.
